Last weeks theme explained:
What does it mean to TRY!?
When the word pops into my head all I can think of is exerting so much energy in the hope that something works out.
With the process of trying also comes expectation, a set standard and judgement if we “fail”
So what if we stop trying?
Let go of all the extra baggage that comes with it and practice action with an effortless effort, no attachment to the outcome, no judgement in the process or success of it.
Now think of something you’re trying so desperately to achieve..
Wouldn’t the process be a lot more enjoyable if you took the desperation and expectation away from it?
Take all the actions necessary but please don’t try.
Don’t the most precious things in life seem to flow so naturally?
Lighten your loads, your practice and your life by practicing with ease, an effortless effort, at your own pace with grace.
Don’t try
Just do.

Here are few yoga asanas that will help you increase the overall health and functionality of Liver.

1. 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒂 – It helps to detox the liver.
2. 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒓𝒕𝒕𝒂 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒖 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒂 – This helps to reduce the stress in the abdominal organs.
3. 𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒂 – Light Core drills is very useful to reduce the extra fat accumulated in Liver.
4. 𝑼𝒓𝒅𝒉𝒗𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒌𝒉𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒅𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒖𝒌𝒉𝒂 – This flow will help to massage the organs around liver this reducing the stress on it.

is honestly one of my favourite ways to workout because it doesn’t feel like a workout 😅

I apply the same principles of when I Flow or teach to when I practice #yogadrills like this one ☝️ .
My Principles on the mat are:- .
🌈Move with your breath
.
🙏🏼Tune into how your body feels in each movement
.
🌈Focus on your present moment not the end goal
.
🙏🏼If you feel tired rest it doesn’t matter .
🌈If you feel pain stop it does matter! .
🙏🏼Work WITH your body not against her .

This drill is part 2 of #corestrength and #stability – part 1 was a few weeks ago 🔙 .
This drill uses only a few exercises but in a #ladderflow aporoach whereby each round gets stronger + harder 😅

The poses are
Down dog > high plank > knee to nose > push up > up dog > down Dog .
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity though this drill is a killer 🥵

1 round takes = 10 min and is enough but if you want more go for it 🤜🏼🤛🏼

it’s equipment free
it’s gym free
it’s not complicated
it’s progressive
it’s effective
it’s mindful
it’s functional
it’s done in 10 min
It’s progressive .

You guys asked so here it is. A 25 minute routine based solely on getting those splits.
Even though I believe yoga shouldn’t be about attainment; I understand we all have different goals and poses to aspire too.

This complete split flexibility flow is designed to open up the thighs and hamstrings whilst provide tips and trips how to do this safely and most effectively!

For those of you working towards the splits, try doing this video 2/3 x a week, and on the days you are not opening this areas focus on counteracting the flexibility with some leg strengthening for a happy and balanced body!

Lastly, always listen to and respect your limits, your body has them for a reason!

There are many positions for Meditation but the most important one, is the one you are most comfortable in. it can be anywhere, anytime, in any clothing. So how do you start a meditation practice? Start off by giving yourself 5 short minutes a day. Wear comfortable clothing, get into a comfortable position. Close your eyes…follow your breath in…and out. Thoughts will come, let them, but do not cling to them. Each time a new thought enters, just gently bring your focus back to your breath. In and …out. Think of them like clouds passing by, let them come…and let them go. Namaste 🙏🏼✨ start off with 5 minutes and maybe after some time try it for a few more, Meditation is very much a practice just like the asanas. Some feel it’s even more challenging then advanced postures, but the benefits are incomparable to anything✨✨
